They feature a specially sized Mini HDMI head for port void

Fresh from the factory our line of custom Mini DisplayPort Adapters has arrived. Each adapter is specially designed to work optimally with our docking systems for Apple notebook computers.  They feature a specially sized Mini HDMI head for port void compatibility and an extended cable length (see photo below) allowing the DVI connection to rest outside of the dock (see photo above), freeing up more space under the dock. Our Mini DisplayPort adapter to HDMI Adapter features the same extended length and allows audio to be carreied over the Mini DisplayPort connection on compatible MacBooks (i5 and later). Both adapter models will be offered for sale beginning next week.A Mini HDMI connector was introduced in the HDMI 1.3 specification. As it's name suggests it is much smaller than the Standard Type A HDMI connector, although it still has 19 pins. The Mini HDMI, also known as the Type C connector, was developed for smaller, portable devices where standard HDMI ports would be too large. It is now commonly being found on the new generation of HD Camcorders and notebooks
